SPS Day Photo Contest

Is your Chapter hosting an SPS Day event this year? Capture photos of your celebration for the chance to win $250 of additional Chapter funding!

Overview

IEEE Signal Processing Society hosts the SPS Day Photo Contest in conjunction with the annual SPS Day, held every 2 June, to encourage engagement, collaboration, and celebration among SPS and its Chapters.

We ask SPS Chapters to organize SPS Day activities and events. Afterwards, Chapters are encouraged to submit photos from their events. The photos are evaluated and the Chapter that submits the winning photo will win US$250 to use towards Chapter activities!

Rules

Events

• Event must be held between 19 May and 16 June to qualify as an SPS Day event. The photo submission deadline is 30 June.

Photos

• Each Chapter may submit up to three photos for consideration. If more than three photos are submitted, only the first three photos will be considered.
• Photo collages will not be considered. If a photo collage containing multiple photos is submitted, it will not be considered.
• The SPS Day logo must appear in the photo. Photos that contain logos that have been added later or edited/superimposed will not be considered.

Eligibility

IEEE Signal Processing Society Chapters, Joint Chapters, and Student Branch Chapters are all eligible to participate.

Prize

The winning Chapter will receive $250 of additional Chapter funding for additional Chapter activities. Funding will be routed to either the Chapter’s bank account or the bank account of the parent Section.

Congratulations to our 2023 SPS Day photo contest winners, the Chalapathi Institute of Engineering and Technology Student Branch Chapter! Their Chapter won an additional $250 in funding for 2023.
